Yul Edochie moulded me into the actress I am – Judy Austin

Nigerian actress, Judy Austin has hailed her husband and colleague, Yul Edochie for the impact he’s had in her career.

Nollywood diva took to her social media page and stated that Yul moulded her into the actress she is today.

Judy admitted that one of the challenges they face in a bid to perfect their craft is being able to become the character in entirety.

She then compared herself with ace actress, Mercy Johnson, saying that people often think of the mother of four whenever they watch her movies.

She said that if not for her husband, she would not have gotten to the stage in her career where she can interprete a character with depth and make it look real.

According to the mother of one, the movie star who took her as his second wife, brought out the extraordinary act in her.

The pretty actress shared a photo of herself from one of the movies she is shooting where she was dressed as a widow in mourning.

She wrote; ”One of the challenging and also most exceptional thing about being an Actor is not just being able to interpret your role but also becoming your character completely!!!

There’s a reason people think of @mercyjohnsonokojie when they watch my movies, she’s one of the realest and exceptional actor Nollywood ever created.

I wasn’t this deep and real in my interpretation of a character until I was directed by His Excellency @yuledochie oh he brought out the extraordinary act in me!!! I’m proud to say that he moulded me into the actress that I am today… And God will continue to bless you for me.

Once I’m producing, it’s extremely difficult to distract me with anything else cos I direct all my energy, focus and time to it till the job is completed!”
