A well-known video jockey named Moet Abebe has advised women against spending time and energy pursuing a man.
In a recent update on her Instagram story, Moet Abebe argued that men are supposed to pursue and follow women and not the opposite.
Moet Abebe urged women who show interest in men to put emotional distance between them so the man would have to work much harder to get their attention.
Moet Abebe asserted that women are discouraged from openly expressing their emotions since they would always be held responsible if things didn’t turn out as planned.
She wrote:

You should Be the one that takes time to answer their calls or respond to their messages…. on a real.. over doing or being over caring.. e no Dey pay… Focus on you and your happiness mehn.. never let it revolve around Man becos na you the woman them go still blame when it all goes to sh*ts. You may as well make it work out in your favour…”
