Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, well known as Wizkid paid tribute to the late Chief Executive Officer of Milan-based label Off-White, Virgil Abloh.

The death of the American trained architect was announced on Sunday 28th November 2021 after he was reported to have battled with cancer for several years.

The news was first announced on the official Twitter page of Luis Vuitton as well as the Instagram page of Virgil Abloh. The American Designer was said to have died after battling a rare and aggressive form of cancer, cardiac angiosarcoma for several years.

LVMH wrote on Twitter;

LVMH, Louis Vuitton, and Off White are devastated to announce the passing of Virgil Abloh, on Sunday, November 28th, of cancer, which he had been battling privately for several years.

While performing at the O2 Arena during his “Made In Lagos” tour, the “Essence” hitmaker, Wizkid paid his tribute to the late fashion designer. Wizkid said that the death of Virgil Abloh shows how short life is.
