Wizkid is copying Davido’s singing style – Daniel Regha

Twitter Influencer, Daniel Regha has reacted to music star, Ayodeji Balogun aka Wizkid’s newly released song.

Big Wiz dropped a track titled Bad To Me on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 and it generated a plethora of mixed reactions.

Daniel said the song is is not impressive and up to the standard people have associated to the Ojuelegba crooner.

He said that that towards the ending part of the song, Wizkid began to sound like hie is copying his colleague, Davido’s singing style.

The controversial social commentator further said that Wizzy is not evolving and he didn’t see anything new in Bad To Me.

Taking to Twitter, Daniel wrote; ”Wizkid’s new song “Bad To Me” is not that impressive; Aside from emulating Davido’s singing style in the last post-chorus, the song’s instrumental is similar to that of Costa Titch’s “Big Flexa” & there’s nothing new in his lyrics. He’s top rated but he’s not evolving. No shades.”

In other news, Afrobeats singer, Damini Ogulu, professionally referred to as Burna Boy, has said he started singing when he was two years old.

He said that he just used to sing popular rhymes and choruses at the time but that was not the time he officially went into music.

Burna Boy made this known while appearing as a guest on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in America.

The ‘Last Last’ hit maker, who performed the heartbreak song also talked about his working relationship and British singer, Ed Sheeran.

The multi award-winning Afrobeats singer described Sheeran as one of his favourite people in the world.

He also talked about how he came up with the name, Burna Boy, saying that it was inspired by his love for comic superheroes.
