Veteran Nigerian singer and songwriter, Tubaba (2Baba) has implored Nigerians on social media to apply the brakes on the buzz centred around Grammy award-winning superstar Rihanna so the spotlight can be tilted on his compatriots Wizkid.
In a move that shows the enviable solidarity existing between Nigerian musicians which is clearly missing from the Ghanaian arena, the African Queen creator said the rest of the year belongs to colleague Wizkid for the incredible feat he pulled at the famous 02 Arena recently.
His comment is on the heels of new information that Riri is expecting her first child rapper A$AP Rocky. Rihanna was spotted with a baby bump while being honoured with the title National Hero of Barbados during their breakaway from British rule.
Tubaba, however, said her pregnancy news would have to be put by the side because nothing should interfere with Starboy’s exploit till the year runs out.
He wrote; ”Abeg make riri belle matter chill for now, make nothing interfere with Big Wiz win for the remainder of this year.
