Femi Fani-Kayode, the former Minister of Aviation, has continued to speak out in support of his friend, DCP Abbah Kyari, who has been charged in the Hushpuppi fraud case.
In an Instagram post, FFK stated that when Allen Onyema, the chairman of Air Peace Airlines, was summoned to the United States for a case, the country stood by him and he was exonerated.
FFK inquired as to why Nigerians are unable to do the same for Kyari.
He composed:
”When my friend Allen Onyema, the Chairman of Air Peace, was indicted by the FBI and the Americans demanded he be extradicted we stood by him. Onyema was later vindicated. Why can’t we do the same for Abba? Is it wrong for us to ask them to show us hard evidence of his crime first?”

In recent development, the fraud case against Instagram celebrity Ramoni Abbas alias Hushpuppi, the Inspector-General of Police, Alkali Baba, has ordered an internal assessment of the claims filed against one of the Nigeria Police Force’s personnel, DCP Abba Kyari.
According to one of the court documents obtained by the FBI, Kyari accepted a bribe from Hushpuppi in order to facilitate the arrest and imprisonment of Chibuzo Vincent, a member of his internet fraud ring.
According to a statement made by the police force’s spokesperson, Frank Mba, the police chief has now launched an internal investigation into the claims. According to the force, it is dedicated to the pursuit of justice as well as the improvement of professional partnerships with the FBI.
