Jenna Bandy is a former collegiate shooting guard for the California State University Monterey Bay Otters. She is now a coach and an internet personality. Well, she is generally famous for her Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok footage involving the trick-shot horses, one v one, and her exceptional footballing/basketballing skills. She became the internet sensation back when her video of throwing a football 50 yards in a perfect spiral went viral.

Through her Youtube, she has collaborated with celebrities like RiceGum, basketball star Steph Curry, Josh Horton, Marcelas Howard, Chris Staples, Brittney Elena, etc. She also often features strangers and police officers in her challenge videos. She additionally plays in the Basketball Beauties League. It includes many former colleges, international & WNBA players.

Jenna is also a Guinness World Record holder. She and her group beat 6 Guinness World Records. Jenna Bandy Is A Sister Of A Notable MLB Star 

Jenna, born, September 29, 1992, in Thousand Oaks, California, is the daughter of Sheryl Bandy and John Bandy. She is of German and Ashkenazic descent. Jenna has a twin sibling named Jace, one more sister, Gia, and a brother, Jett.

The latter is a professional baseball catcher who is a free agent. He formerly played in Major League Baseball for teams like the Los Angeles Angels and Milwaukee Brewers.

Jenna Bandy Started Playing Sports As Early As Four  

Bandy, at age 4, started playing baseball in Conejo Valley Little League. Her brother Jett would teach her everything about sports.

Jenna also used to play softball (was a shortstop) and basketball from her school days.

As a child, she also hoped of becoming a sideline sports reporter.

Jenna studied at Thousand Oaks High School.

She Was A Prodigy Player In High School

At Thousand Oaks, Bandy was a varsity starter in all four seasons for their female Basketball team, the Lancers. She was two–time All-County and All-Conference first-team selection and was team MVP and Best Offensive Player averaging 12.0 points, 7.1 rebounds 2.8 assists, and 2.4 steals per game her junior season.

She, unfortunately, tore her ACL, right one before her senior year in high school. Due to this Bandy would miss her entire senior year.

Eventually, she graduated high school in 2010. After that, she attended California State University, Monterey Bay, class of 2015.

Jenna Bandy College Stats 

In CSU, Jenna played collegiate basketball for the Monterey Bay Otters. During her first year as a college athlete, she played at least 20 minutes in seven games for the Otters.

She, however, would suffer a knee injury at San Francisco State during the game later the same year on first December 2010. Bandy still finished the match.

Also in the same campaign, the Conejo Valley-born athlete saw action in 23 games. In that edition of college basketball, she hit her first collegiate 3–pointer and played a season-high 18 minutes in a win over Hawaii Pacific on November 16, 2010.

The Otters’ no 21 also scored a season-high seven points from Montana State–Billings on November 20. She additionally provided two assists on three different events. Bandy also recorded a season-best four rebounds in a win over Cal State San Bernardino on January 29.

She completed her first year with highs of 152 points and 22 3–3-point field objectives.

2011-12

As a sophomore, Jenna over doubled her minutes while establishing career highs in almost every statistical category. She also recorded her initial double-digit match with 10 points at Cal State L.A. Further, the Thousands Oaks graduate caught a career-high eight rebounds in a win over Cal State Stanislaus in January 2012.

2012–13

During her junior year, Bandy scored in double figures in two of her first three appearances.

The Golden State native was well on her way to her best collegiate season to date. She, however, would tear her ACL, left one, at San Francisco State in December 2012, which forced her to make 2012–13 a medical redshirt season.

2013-14

She recovered partially while still a junior and went on to play in all 25 games in the year 2014. She finished the season with career highs of 152 points and 22 3–point field goals.

Jenna opened the season with the first of four double-figure; she scored games by tossing in 12 in a win over Dixie State on November 9, 2013.

As a junior, the Californian pulled in a career-high 20 points against Humboldt State on January 3, 2014, one of only three 20–point games by the Otters all season.

Her overall score at Monterey Bay includes 13.6 points and 4.9 rebounds per game while shooting 90.1 percent from the free-throw line.

Jenna Bandy Stopped Playing Professionally After College 

In college, Jenna pursued a degree in communication and media examines. She majored in communications with a focus on journalism and media studies as well as human communications.

While still in college, she once admitted to becoming a broadcaster and sports reporter in the future.

After college and owing to injuries, the White Mamba, however, worked as a production assistant at the ESPYs and for the Special Olympics.

How She Started Her Coaching Career?

In the process of being an assistant, an old friend approached the five-foot-eight-inches tall shooting guard and asked Jenna to help assist him in coaching. He was working for the girls’ program at a nearby high school. Jenna eventually became the JB head coach and her friend’s varsity assistant for two years.

Her mentoring career began in April 2017 when she accepted the head coaching position for the girls’ basketball staff at Calabasas High School. Shortly after, she created the Basketball Beauties All-League club in 2017.

She currently runs her own basketball/softball lessons at the Greater Los Angeles Area and in the meantime also serves as an assistant coach to Moorpark College.

Does Jenna Bandy Have A Boyfriend?

While Bandy shares just about every little detail inside the court, her life apart from sports remains a mystery; especially when it is about her romantic aspects. She very well might have had a few partners or two in the past, yet none of them are in any narration whatsoever.

However, in July 2021, Jenna posted imaging of herself posing with a basketball and seemingly calling it her hubby,
@siqbasketball. One could say, so far that’s the only time she’s ever come close to mentioning anything about her love life or significant other.
