When brewing green tea, take a little extra care, as boiling water is bad for the precious catechins (tea’s healthy fat burning chemicals). Bring your water to a boil, but let it rest for about ten minutes. Then, pour the water over the tea and brew for about one minute or more before serving.
Green tea has many other health benefits as it also contains many nutrients, including antioxidants and anti-cancer and brain-healthy compounds. You should consider including green teas in your meals.
Please avoid taking green tea very early in the morning on an empty stomach or at meal time. Neither should you take more than two to three cups a day, nor add milk or sugar to it.
WHEN CAN YOU DRINK GREEN TEA?
