Nigerian singer and rapper, Benkretz has made an appeal to Afrobeats sensation, Asake following his domination of charts.

The up-and-coming artiste said musicians are now delaying to release songs because Asake’s tracks off his debut album have pushed out everybody’s song from music charts.

Benkretz decried how some music acts released songs at the same time as the YBNL signee yet their singles are not gaining airplay because of him.

He said most artistes have opted for just previewing their songs instead of formally releasing it because they are scared of the Asake effect.

Taking to his Instagram story, he begged Asake to take pity on them and give some space for them to also thrive with their songs before he releases another one.

Benkretz wrote; ”No artist wan drop song again o. Everybody just Dey preview music. The ones wey drop we still dey find them for charts. ASAKE pity for us”.
