Uche Maduagwu, a controversial actor, has requested musician Davido to explain how much money he donated to charity.
He made the call after the artist announced that he earned $22.3 million on Instagram.
Davido had requested that his pals to send him at least N1 million as a birthday gift before his birthday on November 21. Within 48 hours, his friends and followers flocked to his aid, donating as much as N200 million.
He said in a statement that he would donate every penny to charity and that he would also contribute N50 million of his own money. He stated that the funds would be distributed by a five-person committee.
Uche stated Davido has yet to reveal the organisations that benefited from the donation in a video shared on his Instagram page this evening. He urged him to name all the beneficiaries of the charities.
”Oh my God! You are coming out to tell us how much you made in a year. We are happy for you. Glory be to God. But why can’t you tell us how much you gave to charity homes in Nigeria? You came out and said that on the 18th and 19th you would do disbrusement. You said you would do a press release on the 20th or the 21st but we did not see press release. We want to know how much did you give the charities. Name them!”
