Young Ghanaian songstress, Feli Nuna has publicly stated that the number of female music executives in the Ghanaian music industry is very low.

She made this known in a recent submission she made during an interview on the popular Ghanaian radio station, Hitz FM.

In her submission, she said;

“I remember I met someone who said he wanted to be my godfather, but then he would like to sleep with me to get familiar and also make work easier.

We need a lot of female music executives. I am not beefing with anybody. Not everyone is supposed to be your friend.”

Born Felicia Nuna Akosua Tawiah, Feli Nuna is songwriter director and producer. She signed her first record deal as ‘Felly’ with Lynx entertainment in 2012 and released her first official single ‘Ghana Girl Swag’ but disappeared off the scene for personal reasons and later resurfaced in 2015 under Beehyve Entertainment. Under Lynx Entertainment, she released ‘Ghana Girl Swag’ with the hit single “I like am”.

She attended the prestigious Akosombo International School and after her secondary school education, she gained admission into the University of Ghana in 2009 where she studied English, sociology, and psychology. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Psychology.
