VIDEO: Traffic Police Officer Accosted By Civilians In Nairobi

A video has been sighted on social media that captures that moment a traffic police officer was beaten by a merciless mob in Nairobi.

It is still unclear as to what led the mob to descend on the uniformed officer but the mob was seen dragging the officer on the ground before putting him in a car.

The video was shared by the Former Nairobi Governor, Mike Sonko who expressed his displeasure in how the officer was treated especially when he was still in his uniform.

He wrote; This is totally wrong and unacceptable. You can’t do this to a uniformed traffic police officer while on duty ama mimi ndio sijaelewa nini inaendelea?
