VIDEO: Bomb Allegedly Explodes at Kotoka International Airport – Netizen Gives Chilling Account

The Kotoka International Airport has been the scene of an alleged bomb attack.

According to reports on numerous social media platforms, a reported explosion occurred at the Kotoka airport some few hours ago.
People traveling to and from the country were told to come to a standtill and lie down on the ground to avoid being injured by the explosion, according to internet chatter.

A loud boom was heard close a few minutes after the instruction was given, and smoke could be seen from that site, according to the comments.

It is believed that a terrorist intended to murder a large number of people, but officials discovered the bomb and sought to ensure that no one was injured.
In footage that have gone viral on social media, people can be seen lying on the ground.

In the middle of the terminal, a bag presumed of containing the device was seen.

Meanwhile, an official statement has been issued in response to the viral footage. Other commentary, though, suggests that it is a military drill but the Ghana Airport authorities say the outcome of the investigation would soon be made public.
