EastEnders is regime propaganda. The British political and media elites want you to think that the only problem with Islam is that far-right bigots are full of hatred. Jihad? What’s that? You’ll never, ever see an EastEnders storyline in which Dana, having converted to Islam, decides to blow herself up in Trafalgar Square. Despite the fact that numerous converts to Islam have gotten involved in jihad activity, it would be inconceivable for EastEnders ever to show Islam in a negative light.

Dana Monroe (Barbara Smith) has recently been thinking about converting to Islam in an EastEnders storyline that has been shining a light on both the positives of the Islamic faith and the shocking Islamophobia of far right groups.
Dana’s brother Aaron (Charlie Wernham) has been revealed as a member of a far-right gang which is trying to make sure the new mosque in Albert Square never opens.
Upcoming episodes will see Aaron putting pressure on his dad Harvey (Ross Boatman) to talk to Dana about her plan to convert to Islam….
With a member of Aaron’s own family set to become a Muslim herself despite the feelings of her family, how will he react?
We know Aaron is a member of a far-right gang and is busy planning something, but could circumstances change because of Dana?
Or will Dana’s decision to convert to Islam mean Aaron and his gang put their plan into place sooner than expected?
