Fashion designer Toyin Lawani has revealed why she hated her mother so much as a kid for leaving her to travel and make money to take care of her and her other siblings.
Toyin Lawani shared how an uncle got her impregnated at the age of 15 after [email protected] her said she hated her mother for that because she wasn’t there for her and had to travel always to make money to supply all their needs physically but she wasn’t there emotionally.
According to her, she needed her mother at such a time but unfortunately, she wasn’t there for her and that made her hate her mother so much but now that she’s a mother, she understands better now as she also has to cater to her kids.
Toyin Lawani then advised that parents shouldn’t trust their male family members around their daughters and son because they mostly betray that trust and ruin the lives of the kids which happened to her at the age of 15.
