Global audio streaming and media services provider, Spotify has shared the list of their top 10 Africa’s artistes most Spotify monthly listeners.

The music platform which happens to one of Africa’s favorites streaming platform projects and sells African music to the rest of the world. The July 2022 list saw the African Giant lead the chart.

Burna Boy whose ‘Love, Damini’ album was released on Thursday, July 7, 2022 tops the list with 17 million streams. CKay has 15.7 million, Tems – 15.5 million, Fireboy DML 9.5 – million, Rema 8.8 – million, Wizkid 8.3 – million, Soolking – 7.4 million, Amaarae – 5.5 million, DJ Yo! – 5.4 million and Davido – 5.2 million.

Meanwhile: Buzzing Nigerian musician and performing artiste, Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed, widely known as Bella Shmurda has opened up on being signed to Olamide‘s record label, YBNL Nation.

The YBNL Nation prodigy who was the guest on Echoo Room with ace media personality Quincy Jonze spoke on the possibility of joining Olamide’s record label after the connection with the YBNL Nation boss.

Bella Shmurda broke to Nigerian music scene after Olamide hopped on the remix of his song ‘Vision 2020’ and even sponsored the official music video. The ‘Vision 2020’ hit-maker since then has been consistent throughout.

During his recent interview with Quincy Jonze on Echoo, Bella Shmurda when asked if there was an offer to be signed on the ground gave a diplomatic answer that tilted to both sides. Watch video below.
