“The Most Money I’ve Gotten From The Movie Industry Was GH₵2,000”-Efia Odo Reveals [Video]

Ghanaian actress and social media personality, Andrea Owusu, also known as Efia Odo has revealed that the most money she has ever received from the movie industry after shooting for a whole month is GH₵2,000.

Speaking in an interview on Peace FM with Halifax Ansah Addo, Efia Odo revealed that most actors and actresses are not being paid very well for their job because some receive as low as GH₵500 after shooting movies.

Efia Odo who sounded agitated about how stars in the movie industry are being cheated when it comes to payment revealed that she was never paid for her first five movie roles. She added that the only money she received was for her transportation to the movie site and back home.

In other news, a social media user has taken to the microblogging platform to state that David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido has never achieved anything musically since 2020 until date.

According to the fan, all Davido has been able to achieve in his music career since last year was meeting the Canadian rapper, Drake, and shouting the popular catchphrase “E Choke”.

A tweep who seems to be a fan of Davido’s rival Wizkid sees no reason why the singer has to be compared to the latter who has done so well to keep his brand alive and more solid by putting in a lot of efforts and resources to become who he is today.
