Buzzing Nigerian female vocalist, Temilade Openiyi, known within the showbiz circles as Tems has added another international award to her belt.
The multiple award-winning singer, songwriter, entertainer and performing artiste, Tems on Friday, July 1, 2022 bagged another international award from Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy.
This was made known by Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy via their official and verified Twitter page. Tems received the International Award following her success at the recently concluded BET Awards 2022.
At the just ended BET Awards, the Nigerian songbird bagged an award for Best International Act, she was in a tight competition with Dave (U.K.), Dinos (France), Fally Ipupa (Democratic Republic of the Congo), Fireboy DML (Nigeria), Little Simz (U.K.), Ludmilla (Brazil), Major League DJz (South Africa) and Tayc (France).
Tems also bagged another award for her contribution to Wizkid’s ‘Essence’, the song won the best collaboration of the year. Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy is the largest independent #MusicTherapy charity in the UK, that believes in the power of music to connect with the human potential that lies within us all.
