A Twitter user has stirred a controversial debate on social media about Nigerian songstress and Grammy award-winning singer, Rihanna.

The tweep known as @greatmvn opined that Tems is replacing Rihanna as a female music act who is loved by many for her beauty and talent.

Tems rose to fame in 2021 and gained global recognition due to her feature on Wizkid’s smash hit song, Essence.

According to the tweep; ”Tems is slowly replacing Rihanna. She’s too peng fr, nobody touching her soon I’m afraid”

His assertion generated mixed reactions from netizens.
