SUG Excos Suspended Over Protest Against Animal Attacks On Campus By Oyo College

SUG Executives of the Oyo State College of Education, Lanlate have been suspended by the institution.

This comes after they led a protest against several animal attacks that have been happening on campus.

The executive suspended are the Students’ Union President, Muhammad Yusuf Olaitan, Speaker of the union, Opoola Abel, Clerk of the House, Sheu Lawal, Chief Justice, Qozeem Qudus and Abdullahi Yusuf.

They were suspended by the management of the college and a letter released by an investigation panel conveyed the decision of the management.

They were found guilty of active participation in the wanton destruction of the college property and per the letter, they are to pay a reparation fee of N10,000.
