Nigerian singer, BNXN, real name, Daniel Benson, has expressed deep appreciation to his fans and media practitioners for all their support.

He penned a note of thanks via Twitter after he won the ‘Next Rated Artiste’ at the 15th Headies Award.

BNXN attested to God’s greatness and said that the award is for fans and supporters who listened to him when nothing was moving right for him.

The ‘Italy’ crooner further thanked On Air Personlities for playing his songs and granting him interviews.

Taking to Twitter, BNXN wrote; ”God is the GREATEST. This is for every fan , listener, supporter and radio personalities who gave me ears when nobody was listening and the ones who stuck with me when nothing was moving. This is for you ❤️”.

This year’s edition of the Headies, themed, ‘Join the Movement’, held at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, USA.

It was hosted by Nigerian actress, Osas Ighodaro, and Emmy nominated actor and comedian, Anthony Anderson.

In the usual style of the annual award ceremony, the winner of the Next Rated category is given a brand-new car as part of the prize, so by virtue of emerging the winner, BNXN was presented a 2022 Bentley Bentayga SUV.

When he was giving his acceptance speech, the ‘Outside’ crooner appreciated the organizers and dedicated it to his late mother and other nominees such as Ruger, Ayra Starr, Zinoleesky and Lojay.

”This is for Ayra. This is for Ruger. I love this boy,” BNXN said.

Meanwhile, he also begged Lagos state Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to help him ship the Bentley to Lagos.

BNXN formerly known as Buju offered to loan the car to Sanwo-Olu to drive around once it lands in Nigeria.

“My governor, please o, they gave me car abeg. The money is plenty please, I can’t bring it to Lagos. If you wan drive am o, boya you go help me bring am come Lagos, abeg. My governor, I’m asking, please help me bring my car to Lagos,” he said.
