Songstress Simi has disclosed why people are so quick to assume that others are doing better than them while answering the question bothering her husband Adekunle Gold.
Adekunle Gold tweeted asking why we humans are so quick to assume that everyone else is doing better than we are even if that isn’t true and his wife Simi gave the simplest answer to that.
According to Simi, we as individuals are quick to assume that others are doing better than we are because most of us look up to the social media versio of people’s lives and not the real version of their life.
It’s true most of us gives ourselves pressure to do more because of what we see on social media but what we seem to forget is that in real life, we might be doing better than the giving us pressure on social media.

Therefore, Simi is right as we all are so quick to assume that others especially celebrities and public figures are doing better than us because we look up to the social media version of their lives and not the real life they have.
Social media is just for cruise and mostly not real hence if you look up to the social media version of people’s lives, you will always look down on yourself and assume they are doing better than you when in real life you might be doing better than them.
