School Girls Beat 17-year-old Boy To Death For Sneaking Into Their Dormitory At Night

After sneaking into a dormitory of female students at a neighbouring school late at night, a 17-year-old student from Gathiruini boys secondary school in Kiambu county, Kenya, was beaten to death.

At around 4 a.m. on Thursday, October 21, the form four student and five others allegedly slipped out of their school and sneaked into a female dormitory at Komothai ladies secondary school.

When they arrived at Phoeb House, the girls’ dormitory, for an undisclosed mission, they were observed by some girls who instantly raised an alert, drawing the attention of the entire school. Guards, teachers, and students from the school all hurried to the dormitory to see what was going on.

Four guys managed to flee, according to Kenya’s Directorate of Criminal Investigations, while the deceased was trapped by the girls and school employees.

The statement read;

“On sensing danger, five of the boys managed to trace their way back to their school while the deceased was cornered by the angry students and staff. Sadly, they descended on him causing him life threatening injuries. The boy later succumbed to his injuries at Kigumo level IV hospital.”

Following the incident, detectives discovered boards of wood believed to have been used to assault the suspect.

The police have warned citizens against taking matters into their own hands.
They recommend that accused be given the opportunity to face justice in a court of law.
