Ruger donates relief materials to orphans in South Sudan (Photos/Video)

Nigerian singer-songwriter, Michael Adebayo Olayinka also known as Ruger, has donated relief items and cash to orphans in Juba, South Sudan.

It was gathered that the artiste donated $1,000,(N740,000) and food items to Juba Orphanage centre during a recent visit.

Ruger arrived in South Sudan few days ago, for a concert organized by Next Level Entertainment and he decided to use part of proceeds from the event to provide relief for orphaned kids.

After holding a press in Pyramid Continental hotel, the Jonzing Records signee paid a visit to the Nigerian embassy in Juba where he met Nigeria’s ambassador to South Sudan, Hon. Amb. Ibim.

The singer and Ambassador Ibim went together to the Juba orphanage Center, where he donated the truckload of items.

Ruger took to his Twitter page on October 13 and shared photos, with the caption; ”GOD BLESS SOUTH SUDAN ??❤️”

A video which surfaced online shows the kids dancing joyfully as his hit song, Girlfriend was being played by the DJ.

In similar news, Big Brother Naija star, Nengi visited Ghana in 2021 and made a huge donation to Teshie orphanage, Accra.

The ex-beauty queen donated items that include toiletries, bags of water, bags of rice, drinks, washing powder and boxes of noodles.

Nengi who went on a media tour in the neighbouring West African nation had received a rousing welcome from her Ghanaian fans.

A crowd showed up at the Kotoka International airport to welcome their favourite ex- BBNaija housemate.

A Borborbor dance troupe performed at the airport, while a group of the Ninjas also came out in printed T-Shirts with other Nengi paraphernalia.
