Ruger attends church for deliverance service, turns born again

Budding Nigerian singer, Michael Adebayo Olayinka, known professionally as Ruger, says he has given his life to Christ.

The ‘Girlfriend’ crooner made the announcement via his Instagram story on Thursday, September 22nd, 2022 ahead of the release of his debut album.

He said that he visited Tabernacle Christian Centre for deliverance service an confessed a lot of things on the album.

Ruger, has 3 already released EPs titled “Pandemic”, “The Second Wave” and “The Second Wave (Deluxe)“, informed fans weeks ago that his first album will drop sometime in 2023.

He noted that in preparation for the release he has embraced a new found pat in spirituality.

He wrote: ”I’ve confessed a lot of things on this album. I’m now born again guys. Shout out to Tabernacle Christian Centre for the deliverance service.”

Meanwhile, Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Daniel Benson, popularly known as BNXN, has said there is no beef between him and colleague, Ruger.

He stated this during an interview with The Nation as he noted that he’s focused on his music and his journey.

According to him, the Jonzing World signee is the least of his worries and he wants fans to be aware of his position on the matter.

BNXN also said that he is not bothered about fans comparison the two of them and as to who is better talent-wise

He said; “I needed people to understand that he is the least of my worries, like on a level, if it is competition-wise, talent-wise, or anything he is just the least of my worries, this is not a thing. I don’t want people to think there is a Buju and Ruger thing (beef).

“I needed people to understand that I’m doing me and I am more focused on my music and my journey to even caring about another man’s thing.”
