Retired Policeman Found Dead On His farm

In a sad report, a retired police officer has reportedly died and he was found dead on his farm located in Asitey mountains in Lower Manya Krobo Municipality in the Eastern Region.

The ex-security man is identified as 64-year-old ASP (Rtd) Peter Kwadjo Tawiah and per reports, he left home Thursday morning at about 7:00 am to farm, however, he didn’t make it back home.

Sensing danger when it became known that he has not returned, an official complaint at Odumase Police station at 7:30 pm on the same day by John Teye Oboaba who happens to be his brother.

Immediately, some police officers were deployed to the farm and upon getting there, they met the lifeless body lying down.

His body was examined with inventories of the crime scene taken, and after the body was conveyed to the Atua government hospital where he was declared dead.

This latest news was confirmed to Starr News the Public Relations Officer of the Eastern Regional Police Command, DSP Ebenezer Tetteh.
