Pureakan Recounts How A Trotro Driver Abandoned His Loaded Vehicle With Passengers Just To Hug Him

One of the most talented rappers in the scene but barely recognized by Ghanaians, Bernard Nana Appiah, popularly known as Pureakan has recounted how people from Kumasi show him love whenever he goes there.

Pureakan is a Ghanaian rapper who raps with the original Ghanaian tongue with no dilution with any other language like some rappers do. He has since promoted the Akan culture through his music and fashion sense.

Pureakan speaking in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM on the Daybreak Hitz show revealed that sometimes he feels people do not even listen to his songs but he is grateful for the love a few fans show him especially when they bump into him on the street.

Pureakan revealed that as a rapper, he aspires to be great and to attain a certain level of relevancy but in his case, he feels people don’t listen to his songs.

Pureakan also recounted how a trotro driver had to abandon his loaded vehicle with passengers just to hug him after sighting him on the streets of Kumasi.

He went further to revealed that sometimes, some of his fans dash him money when they see him on the street and that alone motivates him and brightens up his day.

He revealed that sometimes, some of his fans even invite him to their homes to sit at their table and dine with them and that also keeps him going.
