On the 20th and 21st of January 2022, President Muhammadu Buhari will pay a two-day state visit to Kaduna.

The Kaduna State Government acknowledged this in a statement released on Saturday.

Mr. Buhari will launch several of Governor Nasir El-infrastructure Rufai’s projects during his visit, according to the announcement.

The statement reads: “Malam Nasir El-rufai will host President Muhammadu Buhari in Kaduna, Kafanchan, and Zaria on 20 and 21 January 2022 for the commissioning of some projects of the Kaduna State Urban Renewal Programme.”

On Thursday, January 13th, President Buhari paid a visit to Ogun State to inaugurate some of Gov. Abiodun’s infrastructure projects.

The president’s initiatives include the 527 low and medium-density Kobape Housing Scheme in Abeokuta, as well as the 83 duplexes at Kings Court Estate in Oke Mosan, Abeokuta.

The Ijebu-Ode/Mojoda-Epe expressway is the other project.

In other news, Khadijah Okunnu-Lamidi, the daughter of Femi Okunnu, SAN, the former Federal Works Commissioner, has proclaimed her intention to run for President of Nigeria in 2023.

Khadijah is a well-known entrepreneur and proponent of youth development. Slice Media Solutions is her company, and she is the founder and CEO.

She stated that her passion to restore optimism and make Nigeria work for all Nigerians motivates her to run for president.

She said: “I believe in the possibilities Nigeria holds; that is why I have taken this first step, not because there are no fears, but the will to bring about the Nigeria we all wish, hope and believe we can make a reality together.”
