Police Confirms The Death Of Five Armed Robbers Who Engaged Them In A Gun Battle

The Ghana Police Service has confirmed the death of five armed robbers.

According to the service, these five robbers were killed when they engaged the police in a gun battle, and additionally, six others were also arrested.

These armed robbers were reportedly killed after a series of special Anti-Robbery intelligence-led operations that were conducted throughout the country.

The police made this known in a recent post they made on their verified social media handle on the social media platforms.

The post reads;

“6 Armed Robbers Arrested, Five Others Killed

Series of special Anti-Robbery intelligence-led operations were carried out throughout the country in the past 48 hours.

During the operations, 6 robbery suspects were arrested and five others killed in a gun battle with the Police.”

This comes at a point when the Ghana Police Service has been applauded by Ghanaians for their swift response to issues in recent times.

Many people are of the view that the police are gradually restoring the hope citizens had in them through their recent activities.
