Popular Nigerian singer, Teniola Apata, affectionately known as Teni was almost kidnapped by some unknown persons while she was performing on a stage in Buguma, River State.

In a video currently making rounds on social media, the singer was spotted thrilling her audience with an intimating performance when she was reportedly attacked by some unknown persons.

For a moment, her voice was not heard anymore as it was reported that the “Uyo Meyo” singer was nearly kidnapped by some unknown kidnappers.

Most of the audience vacated the scene while escaping for their very lives as gunshots could be heard from afar, probably being fired by the security men around to frighten the kidnapers.

In other news, a man has been reportedly by the Kasoa Police Command for allegedly trying to enter a 31st night service with a gun.

This man is identified as Emmanuel Asare and the incident reportedly happened at Opeikuma in the Awutu Senya East District.

In a report by Starr FM online, he was trying to enter the Church with a hidden gun and this has been confirmed by the spokesperson of the Central East Police Command, ACP Oduro Amaning.

In his submission with the EIB Network’s Central Regional Correspondent, Yaw Boagyan he stated that the arrest was made after they had intelligence from the community.
