Nigeria: Muslims stage new jihad attack at site of June jihad massacre at Catholic church

Jihadis attacked in Owo in June, and now they have struck there again. This story offers a laughable example of how ridiculous the media’s euphemisms for jihadis are: we hear that there were “gunshots” fired by “suspected gunmen.” What Hakeem Gbadamosi-Akure means is that the shooters were suspected jihadis, but “gunmen” is what they’re being called in Nigeria these days, so we get verified gunshots from suspected gunmen. I’d say that if there were real gunshots, there were real gunmen, and not just suspected ones, but what do I know?

“(UPDATED): Again, Gunmen Attack Owo Community, Scores Injured,” by Hakeem Gbadamosi-Akure, Nigerian Tribune, July 27, 2022:
