“Militant Fulani Herdsmen Kill Two in Nigeria,” International Christian Concern, November 25, 2021:

11/25/2021 Nigeria (International Christian Concern) – Yet again, militant Fulani herdsmen have attacked two farmers in Nigeria’s Plateau state, this time killing two men while they were attending to their farms.

The National Publicity Secretary of the Irigwe Development Association (IDA), Davidson Malison, confirmed the killings.

“Two Rigwe people were killed yesterday by Fulani Herdsmen at Ancha village of Miango District, Rigwe Chiefdom of Bassa LGA of Plateau State,” he said.

“Those killed includes Daniel James, 32, and Zakwe Deba, 35. The entire Rigwe nation is saddened by this unfortunate development and call for more proactive measures by security personnel and government in ending this bloodletting in the land,” he added.

The Fulani are an ethnic group, most of whom live at peace with their neighbors. Fulani Militants, however, are members of the Fulani ethnic group who have been radicalized by a form of extreme Islam. These militants use their trade in cattle to move throughout the country, killing Christian farmers, destroying villages, and taking land.
