My inability to speak proper English affects my career – Yoruba Actress, Madam Saje

Yoruba movie star, Fausat Balogun aka Madam Saje has spoken on her career and the challenges she faces in life.

The veteran actress revealed that the fact she cannot speak English fluently has affected her in ways many people do not know.

Madam Saje made this known in a video she posted on Instagram and titled, ‘Things you wouldn’t know about me.

She revealed that she does not have a degree neither did she attend secondary school because she stopped at primary school education.

The seasoned actress said that she began her acting career in 1975 shortly after finishing from primary school.

But she has not been able to return to school to further her education since then and this, she said, has limited her acting career.

Madam Saje further noted that that not going beyond primary school affected her ability to speak proper English.

According to the mother, it hindered her advancement in the industry as she has not been able to act in English movies.

However, despite her limitations caused by her lack of education, the actress said she is consoled by the highly educated and amazing people God has used to bless her in the movie industry.

In other news, Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, whose stage name is Portable, has been conferred with a chieftaincy title in his home state, Ogun.

He took to his official social media page on Monday, August 22 to announce the big news while disclosing his new title.

According to the controversial artiste, he will now be known as Chief Amuludun of Tigbo, Aworiland.

The artiste also shared photos and videos on his Instagram page capturing his coronation ceremony in Ogun.

He declared that it is God who made it possible for him so he thanks the Almighty for blessing him everyday.
