“My Fight With Tiwa Savage Would Have Been Different If I Didn’t Have Peace” – Seyi Shay Recounts

Singer, Seyi Shay, has recounted her clash with Tiwa Savage a few months ago and has shared that, the things would have turned out differently if she wasn’t at a place of peace at the time.

Readers will recall that, the two singers got into a nasty altercation some months ago after they met in a salon. Tiwa lashed out at Seyi Shay for saying ‘hi’ to her as there was some bad blood between them from years back.

In a sit-down interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, Seyi Shay shared that, the outcome of their altercation would have taken a different turn if not that she had worked hard over the years to find her peace.

“Guess what? If I had not spent a good couple of years finding my centre, my peace, bringing myself up to a different vibration, praying and fasting, sitting my a*s in the studio pouring out my heart, trust me the outcome (with Tiwa Savage) would have been very different,” she said.

She also recounted the incident sharing that, it was a simple “hello” to which Tiwa responded to therefore, she was shocked by Tiwa’s reaction minutes later.

“It was a hello and some minutes later it was a different thing, which was shocking to me you know. At the same time everybody is in a different place in their lives and everybody is going through something but then you say ‘hi’ to somebody no matter what the history is or whatever, you expect either ‘don’t talk to me ‘ or a ‘hi’ back but this circumstance was very different” Seyi Shay shared.

She, however, added that, the incident wasn’t a mistake as she believes “everything that happened was supposed to happen.”
