My dad is going on holiday with my mum in celebration of no longer paying school fees for us – Nigerian man

A Nigerian man has taken to micro-blogging site, Twitter to share a story of how his father expressed joy over the fact that he will no longer have to worry about paying school fees for his kids.

The tweep with username @MrMekzy_ said he noticed that his dad has been wearing a happy look, so he asked him the reason behind his bright mood.

His father explained that he is happy because after 25 years of paying school fees, he will no longer worry about  his children’s tuition in January as he usually does before they all graduated.

He told his son that he has lived for them so he wants to now relax and spend quality time with his wife.

@MrMekzy_ wrote;

”I noticed my dad has been extra happy for a while, I asked him why and he said “For the first time in over 25 years, I don’t have to think of school fees for 4 of you in January.

I’ve lived my life for you guys all these years, it’s time to live it for me and your mother. He’s packing all his things to go and spend the holidays with his wife, he legit can’t wait for this pandemic to be over.”
