Most of the money I make is from Africa – Davido (Video)

Nigerian superstar singer, David Adeleke has revealed that most of the money he makes as an entertainer is from Africa.

He made the statement while having a chat with musicians and producers at an eent hosted in the United States.

Davido explained that he won’t get as much money in America as he does in Nigeria except if its from a big music festival.

The DMW boss further explained that he always drums his mission to people back hme which is that he is trying to export Afrobeats to the world.

He also took a swipe at American music producers, noting that a small boy who’s tech savvy in Sogunle wil school music producers in US.

Meanwhile, Nigerian rapper, Dremo has revealed how he was welcomed after being signed to Davido’s DMW Records six years ago.

According to the ‘Ojere’ crooner, the DMW founder housed him and other artistes for about a year before they moved out of his apartment.

Dremo also revealed that the ‘Fall’ crooner, fed all of them during the duration that they stayed with him.

He made the revelation during an interview on Echo Room as he also talked about his rap career.

Dremo was signed to DMW alongside singer, Mayorkun in 2016.

The rap artiste stated that Disc Jockeys and other notable persons in the industry used to visit Davido’s house, and spoke on the need for him to combine rapping with singing to become successful.

He, however, said that he chose to focus on rap and never wanted to stop even though he could also sing.

Dremo further stated that Davido was more interested in getting the right management for him rather than handling his music career directly under DMW.
