Most Nigerian men don’t want me, they’re after my dad – Billionaire heiress, DJ Cuppy

Popular Nigerian Disc Jockey, Florence Otedola also known as DJ Cuppy, says that most men in Nigeria are only showing interest in her because of her father, Femi Otedola’s money.

Speaking about her love life during a recent podcast as she recounted some experiences with men who wooed her.

According to Cuppy, she, however, hopes to meet a man who truly loves her and see her father as a ‘by-product’.

She also revealed that a guy she met recently shocked her because they had not known each other for long before he started asking to meet her billionaire dad.

“Back home, I feel like so many guys don’t want me, they want my dad. If I meet a guy in the UK, and I have met guys in the UK; when I tell them that I am from Nigeria, they ask me what village. And it makes me feel the person is not really Nigerian.

“They just love my dad. I met a guy recently and the next thing he asked me was, ‘so when am I going to meet your dad.’ I was shocked. I want someone to love me a lot and be happy and my dad would be like a by-product,” she said.

Cuppy, who is 29 years old took to her Instagram story to list what she is looking for in a man and her expectations. The music producer said she has to find the type of man who will compliment her while also pushing her to be better.

She further stated that he should be better than her at some things so that it will serve as a source of inspiration for her. The billionaire heiress said that the above standards she mentioned are the reason she is still single.

Cuppy wrote; ”I really think that I have to find a partner that compliments me but still pushes me and is also better at some things than lam, so they can inspire me to improve myself as a person. Hence I’m STILL single.”
