‘Missing But Found’ Takoradi Lady Pleads Not Guilty In Court For ‘Fake Pregnancy & Kidnapping’

The lady at the center of the fake kidnapping incident in Takoradi has reportedly been dragged to court.

The lady, whose name is Josephine Panyin Mensah pleaded not guilty after her first appearance in court on Monday, September 27.

Per what we gathered, she appeared at the Takoradi Habour Circuit Court A by police around 6:00 am.

Her not guilty claim comes after the police issued a statement telling the general public that she had confessed to faking her pregnancy and her subsequent kidnap.

It could be recalled that the lady has been in the news for several days for being kidnapped and being found.

At first, she got the sympathy of the public with her claim of being pregnant and getting kidnapped, however, many Ghanaians started bashing her when it was discovered that she has been faking her pregnancy.

It was also established that she masterminded her own kidnap to deceive the public after confessing what she did in the presence of the police and other witnesses.
