Man Nabbed For Allegedly Attempting To Enter 31st Night Service With A Gun

A man has been reportedly by the Kasoa Police Command for allegedly trying to enter a 31st night service with a gun.

This man is identified as Emmanuel Asare and the incident reportedly happened at Opeikuma in the Awutu Senya East District.

In a report by Starr FM online, he was trying to enter the Church with a hidden gun and this has been confirmed by the spokesperson of the Central East Police Command, ACP Oduro Amaning.

In his submission with the EIB Network’s Central Regional Correspondent, Yaw Boagyan he stated that the arrest was made after they had intelligence from the community.

According to him, a locally manufactured pistol which was loaded with eighteen rounds of ammunition was recovered from the man.

Additionally, he indicated that four expanded 9 mm ammunition was found on the man, and other items that were recovered also included substances suspected to be marijuana.

As we speak, this has been kept in custody and will be arraigned before court.
