Speaking in an interview on Kastle FM, Guru explained that some artists in the music industry take royalties for other artists and the money ends up in their own pockets and does not get to deserving artists as it’s supposed to.

“I have never received my royalties in doing active music for twelve years. Artists don’t get their royalties. Someone takes royalties on your behalf but won’t locate you to give it to you”, he said.

The Lapaz Toyota hitmaker stated that the organization has ineffective regulations of royalty systems which make artists who are deserving gain nothing. He emphasized that those who receive royalties receive an underserving amount.

We are not regulating the system enough”.
