According to her, she’s aware of cultural and religious values but the rate at which gays and pansexuals are getting married to straight people in Nigeria makes her worry and she knows it’s unfair to deceive someone into marriage as they do.

Adding that the way forward is to educate ourselves on sexuality and uniqueness and upscale our society into a system where we can all be humans and allow everyone to practice or feel comfortable with their sexual preference.

But with religion and cultural practice in place, it’s going to be hard for gays and pansexuals to be themselves in society even if education is given and the number of them marrying straight people will keep rising every single day.

The way forward is to educate ourselves on sexuality, our uniqueness, expectations and boundaries; and upscale our society into a place where we can all be human. This way people won’t have to hide or be deceptive in order to fit in.
