After being arrested by the police for coercively getting intimate with his 15-year-old stepdaughter in Ekiti State, a father has attributed his conduct to the devil.
The Nigerian man Ojo Babatunde, was nabbed and detained by the juvenile Welfare Centre (JWC) of the State CID, in Omuo-Ekiti on Friday, July 22.
A statement by the command’s spokesperson, DSP Abutu Sunday, Wednesday, July 27, reads;
“The victim, who is already 4 months pregnant, claimed that the suspect, Ojo Babatunde, who is also her stepfather, had unlawful carnal knowledge of her several times before and after she became pregnant.
She explained that the stepfather started r,aping her when the mother gave birth through Caesarean Section and had to spend about three weeks in the hospital leaving her and the step father at home.
According to her, the stepfather used to have unlawful carnal knowledge of her at home when her mother is away and often times lures her to the farm and defile her after which he will [email protected] her never to tell anyone or face the consequence.
During interrogation, the suspect confessed to the commission of the crime and claimed it was the handwork of the devil.”

According to well-known gospel minister Eucharia Anunobi, adultery is not a huge concern for a married person who engaged in fornication before to marriage.
