‘It’s been difficult keeping my virginity’ – BBNaija’s Cindy

Former contestant of Big Brother Naija season 4, Cindy Okafor, has revealed that she is still a virgin.

The reality TV star, however, lamented hat it has been very difficult keeping her virginity in these times.

Cindy made the statement while responding to a post by skit-maker, Ashmusy that she will remain a virgin till she gets married.

The BBNaija star, added that though it is a struggle, she would remain strong and not give in to temptation to lose her chastity.

”It’s been difficult keeping my virginity but I’ll stay strong”, she wrote.

Meanwhile, Special Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Media, Ossai Ovie Success, has lectured Nigerian content creator, Amarachi Amusi aka Ashmusy, on what it means to be a virgin.

He penned his thoughts on Facebook while reacting to Amarachi’s revelation that she is a virgin and it ill remain that way till marriage.

She had written; “I promised myself to remain a virgin till marriage. I’m so glad I have kept that promise. Dear future hubby I hope you are worth the wait”.

In response, Ossai told her that being a virgin does not automatically translate to a woman being a wife material.

He lashed out at her for going online to boast about being a virgin, while also commending her for keeping her virginity.

He wrote; ”Being a virgin doesn’t makes you a wife material.

It’s act of Stupidity for anyone to come online boasting about her virginity and using it as a criteria of being a good wife material to her future hubby. Keeping your virginity is the best gift a woman can give to her husband but coming online to tell the world that you are a virgin is absolutely stupidity.

To the young ladies out there , please do everything possible to keep your virginity for your husband but don’t be tempted to come online to tell the world about it. Yes, I commend Ashmusy for keeping her virginity but at the same I condemned her for coming online to disclose the status of her virginity.

Ashmusy should have made her virginity a secret gift to her future husband and not coming online to tell us. In case she doesn’t know , she is putting her virginity at risk because there are so many bad guys out there. I pray God to protect her .”
