Influencer, Papaya Ex acquires house in Lekki worth N100m

Popular Instagram influencer, Raheem Abike Halimah, also known as Papaya Ex, has bought a house for herself in Lekki, Lagos state.

The brand ambassador took to her social media page on Saturday, 1st October to announce that she’s the latest landlord in the commercial city.

Papaya, who is also called Abike Arab Money showed off the beautiful edifice in video she posted while describing it as one of her big girl achievements.

The internet celebrity also gave the consideration of referring to her latest acquisition as an early birthday gift.

She announced that there would be a house warming party in December and only those with asoebi will be allowed to attend.

She gave a tour of the spacious house which also has a swimming pool customised with her name at the bottom.

Sharing the video, Papaya wrote; ”One of my big girl achievements!? Will I call this early birthday gift??…… #LandladyBigpaps house warming party this December!

Meanwhile, CorrectNG reported weeks ago that Abike lamented about spending N50k on data subscription weekly without it lasting for long.

In a series of posts on her Twitter account, she described it as daylight robbery. She also reminisced on the good old days when Nigerians could use 1GB of data in a month and it would not be exhausted until the date of expiration.

Her post however caused fans on the microblogging platform to raise questions with some accusing her of lying for clout.

In response to trolls, Papaya went on to explain that she uses the internet to work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The brand ambassador also suggested that the N50k data does not last her up to five days but she just decided to say a week.

In her words; ”I can’t do this anymore ? I give up. 50k data in a week?? I miss days we use 1GB in a month please. What’s this daylight robbery ??help! Lmaoo. Because I didn’t say 50k in 5 days? Mtchew. I use 10k every single day. I use internet 24/7, how much do you expect me to use? 2k? Please please, y’all act ignorant blindly everytime on this app. Who doesn’t know 100k is the new 10k lately. Kmt abeg!”
