Sexual exploitation and molestation of Hindu women by Muslims have become the order of the day in India. While the secular system continues to slumber, Islam is tightening its tentacles around vulnerable women and taking them down one at a time. This time, a 19-year-old Hindu woman from the marginalized Dalit community has become the latest victim of Islamic brutality in the south Asian county. The incident is being reported from Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
The victim came on the radar of these Muslims after making an Instagram post seeking job opportunities. Responding to her job search, Arbaaz Khan reached out to her and introduced another perpetrator to her as a “job consultant.” They asked her to meet them at Regal Square in Indore on September 14.
She was offered some refreshments and water and started to feel dizzy right after consuming them. While unconscious, she was transferred to a house in Indore’s Vijayanagar colony, where some more men joined Arbaaz and the second perpetrator and started gang-raping her. The woman gradually gained consciousness and pleaded with the men to spare her. But they refused, claiming, “We will go to jannat [heaven] if we have sex with a Hindu woman.” She tried to convince them to leave her alone, pointing out that she was married and six months pregnant, to which these assaulters replied, “Humare Islam mein sab chalta hai [Everything is fair in our Islam].”
They threatened to kill her and her husband if she took any action against them, and fled. The victim reached home and, accompanied by her husband, approached the police. She was terrified after the ordeal, but somehow managed to sum up the courage to recollect every event and lodge a formal complaint against the four men. She named Afzal Patel, Arbaaz Khan, Prince Syed, and Syed in her complaint; they have since been arrested.
Though this horrific incident occurred in mid-September, the administration and media worked hand-in-glove to keep it from public knowledge. An incident as gory as this one would have reached the last corner of the planet had this been a Muslim woman even being shouted at by Hindu men.
The dehumanization of non-Muslim women and the normalizing of their sexual abuse is a key feature of Islamic indoctrination, which begins in the cradle. It is promulgated further through mosques and madrassas (Islamic religious schools), Islamic universities, and other Islamic socio-religious institutions.
A few days ago, an old tweet by a Muslim layer representing the Muslim side in the ongoing hijab row in India surfaced and went viral. In the tweet, Adv Nizam Pasha quoted the Quran and suggested that the hijab distinguishes Muslim women from others so that molesters can spare them. In February of this year, Muslim lawmaker Zameer Ahmed implied that women get raped because they don’t wear the hijab.
Such corrupt and vile messages by educated Muslim men establish that their religious texts guide them to identify a Muslim woman, leave her alone, and take their molesting tendencies to the next non-Muslim woman walking down the street.
In an audio clip that went viral on Instagram a few months ago, a Muslim youth named Nadeem was heard saying, “Hindus should be identified, raped, and killed.” There have been numerous cases of grooming jihad in which Muslim men told their Hindu victims that they deserved to be sexually assaulted. In 2017, Muhammad Shafi, a doctor from Kerala, was arrested for sexually assaulting more than 30 Hindu women. When quizzed on why he targeted only Hindu women, he said, “As a devout Muslim, I think it is a sin to molest a Muslim girl.”
Recounting the horrors and harassment his Hindu wife was subjected to at the hands of his Muslim family, an ex-Muslim man revealed that his family would tell him that a Muslim man establishing a sexual relationship with a Hindu woman would receive spiritual benefits that are equivalent to performing hajj. That’s why his father and brother tried to rape his Hindu wife and even threatened to rape his 12-year-old daughter, who was born from a Hindu woman. The couple detailed how Muslim society is taught to look at Hindu girls as mere sexual objects.
Young Muslim minds are bombarded with the idea of only Muslim women being worthy of respect as they hide their beauty under the burka or hijab. The vicious concept of non-Muslim women roaming naked and “asking for it” has invigorated religious fanatics such as Arbaaz Khan to prey on Hindu women in India and non-Muslim women from Christian and Sikh families in the UK.
