Legendary Nigerian musician, Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo popularly called D’banj has sent an open message to Afrobeat icon and Grammy nominee, Wizkid congratulating him over his successful tour in London.
Wizkid staged a monumental show at the O2 Arena in London last week as part of his ‘Made in Lagos’ album tour where over 20,000 music lovers jammed to his songs.
Following photos and videos from the concert, D’banj took to his Instagram story to express how proud he is of Wizkid and urged him to continue to breaking new grounds.
He wrote: “Congratulations to my brother @wizkiday. So proud of you bro. keep breaking new grounds. Afrobeat to the word”.
In other news, bride did the unimaginable at her wedding ceremony following the stunt she pulled off whilst making her way to the venue where the ceremony was being held.
The ceremony took place at shore of a beach in South Africa and there is a river close to the sea. The bride emerged from a township across the river and in a boat decorated with rose petals and she was accompanied by two men on jet skis rode to join the groom who was patiently waiting for her.
We don’t have actual details as to where this wedding ceremony took place but from the song played in the background, it could be that it happened in South Africa.
