Ghanaian musician, Francisca Gawugah who is widely known as Sista Afia has revealed what her parents did to put her in check when she was young.

She made this known during a recent interview on the popular Ghanaian radio station, Hitz FM on Monday, August 8.

In her submission, she said;

“I am not a spoiled child. I have always worked for myself. I sold ‘bofrot’ and water during childhood. I was stubborn so I was flown to the U.K.

I used to live in the ghetto. At age 8, I used to pluck mangoes from the tree in our house and sell them.”
