In a Netflix documentary entitled Made In Lagos: Africa, Falz spoke on his life, career, inspration and the impact his father, Femi Falana has on the society.

The activist said that he was never in the church choir but he used to play drums in church at a point in his life.

He said most of the stories dwelt on Mr Falana saving people in difficult situations both in school and everyday life.

The singer also talked about his mum being very disciplined and trying to instill it in her children.

He said that his father is a hero and he does not necessarily need to fit into his shoes, but he has succeeded in his chosen field and now has bragging rights.

Falz further revealed that late Afrobeats pioneer, Fela Anikulapo Kuti was someone who was a huge source of inspiration while growing up.
