Nigerian music star, Damini Ogulu, professionally referred to as Burna Boy, has said he started singing when he was two years old.

He said that he just used to sing popular rhymes and choruses at the time but that was not the time he officially went into music.

Burna Boy made this known while appearing as a guest on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in America.

The ‘Last Last’ hit maker, who performed the heartbreak song also talked about his working relationship and British singer, Ed Sheeran.

The multi award-winning Afrobeats singer described Sheeran as one of his favourite people in the world.

He also talked about how he came up with the name, Burna Boy, saying that it was inspired by his love for comic superheroes.

Meanwhile, Damini had earlier spoken on some of the risks he took and sacrifices he made before he hit the limelight.

He took to his Twitter page on Wednesday to share some sentimental posts while trading words with Wizkid FC.

Burna said he doesn’t care about being the biggest Nigerian artiste, however, he is just happy that he is doing what he loves, which is music.

According to the Tonight singer, he did not know he would live this long and if people knew half of the things he has done make money they would be happier for him.

Burna Boy disclosed that he came straight into the Nigerian entertainment scene from Chelmsford prison in the UK.

He tweeted; ”Nigeria real doesn’t know me. I Don’t care to be the BIGGEST Nigerian artist, I’m just happy I can do what I love and Take care of my people from it. If you knew just Half the shit I used to do for money risking my freedom Daily you would be Way Happier for me.

I came into the Music industry straight from CHELMSFORD HMP. I had no idea I would even live this long. So when people talk about me now it’s all just funny. Of course I would perform with my injured Leg or even NO Legs or no arms.”
