A Nigerian lady known as Alexandria Ijeoma Nzoko has recounted how she turned down a marriage proposal from a love interest just because of her employment status.
Alexandria who is a practicing Lawyer revealed that due to the fact that she did not have stable source of income, she rejected the proposal by the man as she did not want to get herself into marriage whilst broke and it is something her father would never allow.
Alexandria identified on her Twitter as @Lexie_nzk further disclosed, however, that the man was willing to marry her despite not having a job but she still refused.

I rejected a marriage proposal because I did not have a stable source of income and even though the young man was cool with me not having a job, I refuse to be broke and marry someone. My papa no go gree. Las las the man stopped talking to me, I pray he invites me to his wedding. she tweeted.
Her tweet sparked mixed responses from other Twitter users and many concurred with her standpoint on getting a job before marriage.
